Mr. Pires is a past graduate of Ridley College. He started working in the production department at Caribbean Chemicals as a boy and moved up the ranks to Managing Director in 1992 after the passing of his father. He is currently the chairman of VEMCOTT and has served on the Board of First Citizens Bank and was a past Vice President of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Mr. Pires is an entrepreneur and has successfully opened several other businesses such as Sea Box Ltd, Samurai Restaurant, Bottle Stop, Chill & Grill and Island Beers.
Mr. Pires is an accomplished Agronomist having successfully worked throughout the Caribbean region and is also Managing Director of Caribbean Chemicals Guyana. He was instrumental in working on the National Development Strategy and the formation of the Pesticide Board in Guyana to name just a few.
Mrs. Mazley has been a banker for the majority of her working life. She started working with Bank of Commerce and then moved on to RBTT Royal Bank. She is now the owner of Trinidad Brushware Limited a company that manufactures and distributes various cleaning products. She has been with the Caribbean Chemicals board since 2010.
Peter Ganteaume has had a distinguished career in finance, accounting and audit since qualifying in June 1969 as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He was appointed CEO of Guardian Holdings Limited in July 1999 and served the company until 2006. Mr. Ganteaume is a former Executive Chairman of Pricewaterhouse Coopers and has presented numerous papers on technical accounting and finance related subjects. He has also served as Chairman of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago and as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago. He has also been appointed by the Trinidad & Tobago Government to serve on Fiscal Review Committees. Mr. Ganteaume joined the Board of Caribbean Chemicals in September 2014.
